ShaggyRS6
As I pick off the bunnies around my permission its becomming harder to get close to the ones in the middle of the orchard. I am thinking about getting a hide (or some netting) and a seat that will fit into a como ruck sack. there is some good cover in the orchard but because of my bad back I will need to sit down. I plan on hanging the camo net around a large tree then sit and wait. Any reccomendations?

If you can get some ground poles and form a square around the tree so you have all angels covered with room to moove your seat all the way around the tree if need be. If you can use some of the natual habbitat with your netting to make it more effective. If you can leave it for a few days set up so they are not off put by it, more then lightly not be any how but best of luck.

kdubya
Ignoring the idiocy of who is best and who wont speak to me blah blah!? stealth nets are good BUT (getting back to the point) for bunnies I dont use a hide, I have tried it and found it restrictive to say the least, now I know you said you had a bad back, but does that prevent you from lying prone? if not do what I do, Ie if not shooting the beggers from a vehicle and I have to "snipe them" I have a large bergen rucksack that I have filled with foam hence little weight but retaining the bergens shape! I also have a gun slip that opens out into a "mat" so I place the bergen in front of me lay on the mat and using the bergen as a gun rest wait for mr bunny, now as its movement that mr bunny is looking for, then by keeping still and low behind the bergen works a treat? have had a lot of VERY productive bunny bashing sessions this way. and its amazing how close you can get to a warren using this method. cheers KW
