wandringstar
i just read it took an hour to get an ambulance to him, and he went into cardiac arrest 3 mins before, some are blaming cuts, i think it all goes hand in hand with the slow but sure mismanagement of the country, i am pretty sure the £12 billion sent to the third world would have helped. Its a total disgrace that this man died in a country he richly funded, and in his hour of dire need, the most fundamental provision wasn't there. Diabolical. It a very sad event and doesn't deserve to be used to score political points,
wandringstar
why not? its totally relevant, and in my opinion true, it was bad enough that someone did this to him, but to find out he could be here today if not for lack of resources is because of politicians, its more than relevant, a politicians hand is on everything. He would also have been here today if the burglars hadnt shot him in the first place. Shall we blame that on politicians too ?
wandringstar
To that, i would say a politician has a lot more control and accountability over whether an ambulance gets to a critically injured person on time, as opposed to being responsible for two degenerates deciding to rob and shoot that person, anything else absolves the perpetrators of the crime too much, saying that, stronger deterrents could have stopped that.
