Blackpowder
How vital is the sizing for a flush fitting built in ceramic hob. Mine just got cracked . While it is simple to measure the outside dimensions I have been told the slot cut in the worktop is not a standard size. Cosd
Every hob will require a certain size cut out, but that's not to say one 60cm hob cut out won't fit another 60cm hob! You should be able to take a measurement of the cut out from beneath.

Yes I found the original documents but the model is obsolete but a nice lady at Currys fixed me up with one to be a direct replacement. vampire
Some only insert into the aperture and held by sprung clip, others are held from underneath via screwed clip.see if it pulls up or look underneath.
Wilksy II
Most 600mm hobs have a cut out of 560mm wide by 490mm front to back.
