Was expecting a phone call last week but nothing only got next week then it runs out on the following tues . Now my quistions is wot options do I have if goes over wich is looking likely can I phone up and ask for a temp cert or will I have to put in storage at gun shop .? Which I don't want to do as got a golf club that over run with rabbits at moment and couple farms that I need to keep up to I will be phoning Monday if there answer thanks matty .

Its in the HO Guidance (link above) ....

10.51 If a certificate expires before a renewed certificate has been issued and the certificate holder has behaved in a reasonable manner returning the forms in good time, a temporary permit (section 7 Permit) should be issued by default. With regard to renewal, the applicant may submit a photocopy of their certificate and retain the expiring certificate in order to be able to buy ammunition.

So I guess when you phone / email them you ask, politely ."....will you be posting or delivering the temp certificate ...?"
