Red-dot
Lost my handmade leather deer sling last week but on reflection it was too narrow. Any reccomendations for a wider/softer replacement?
saddler
I make the "Whitehead" type deer carriers, if one of those would do?

saddler
DID have them on my website before it was killed in the Great Photobucket SNAFU of 2017 Not sure what USB stick or back up device they will be on. The drawing/plans are in the small green paperback Whitehead book on deer stalking - along with photos of one he had made. I based mine on his, but with wider shoulder straps & a better construction. OK. Found an image in an old BDS e-mail - I can forward it if you PM me your address Edited July 25, 2017 by saddler
moose man
Have a look at the niggeloh ones , light , soft on the shoulder and don't slip . I use the neoprene ones and haven't found anything better ..
