Caravanman
Going to buy some decoys for the season and I'm torn between silosocks or foamies of eBay. What would you recommend?

Grandalf
Silosocks work for me and last well too.
WelshAndy
Sillosocks are great with wind but pants on a still day, foamies are great when there's little wind but pants when it's windy.... shells or full bodies for me.

WelshAndy
ideal for sillosocks then buy the proper ones off http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_72&product_id=167 and use the discount code. The cheap ones off eBay aren't great....

Caravanman
That's what I was thinking. I used homemade rag decoys lat season and they did an ok job but I'm going to treat myself to an early Xmas present.
Continental Shooter
I use mix of: handmade cut out thin plywood, fud, static. Last year i bought sillosocks...And i will never look back, especially with some wind... Kept the fud for the different shapes, but my issue is that from a bird eye perspective, foamies will disappear from sight when the geese are in flight and this might spook them. However there are a lot op guides in the US that will swear by them
