wingnut
Good evening , after suffering serious problems with my right hip over the past few months , and after having x rays to see if i had arthritis - negative , i was told to take ibuprofen and use gel anti inflammatory products to relieve any symptoms. After several weeks - no relief, so i book appointment with a different Doctor today and I have just been informed that i have the above condition, it has gotten much worse over the past few days to the point where even walking 50 yds has me in absolute agony and unable to move properly, He has now suggested that i go for a course of Steroid injections, My questions are: Has any of the pigeon watch massive had this complaint? Did you have the injections? How long before you noticed a difference? I have just had to cancel all my syndicate shoot days and several other shoot days this year as a result of this , and would like to know if it will be sorted by next year, I may have to have 1 steroid injection every 3 months, and if they don't work - then possibly surgery Much appreciated. Regards Andy

Sha Bu Le
Andy Not me but Mrs SBL has got bursitis aggravated by arthur rite it is. When it flares up she is in absolute agony, refused the injections by the chief drake at her practice. Has to stoke up on ibuprofen and some other painkiller (cheaper than injections). Booked an emergency appointment at the doctors one time, by the time we got in to see a doctor her agony had increased. So ended up supporting her as she hobbled into his surgery only to find it was the head drake. What he said was a walk around the block was all she needed. Much gnashing of teeth and clenching of fists followed but was warned off by Mrs (I really wanted to put him in hospital but civilization kicked in) She did look at changing doctors but the nearest 3 were no better. Anyhoos Andy if you have / are experiencing the pain she went through I really feel for you and hope you get it sorted sooner not later. timmytree
My sympathies to you. Any bursitis is unbelievably painful. I had it in my left knee and spent two weeks in hospital unable to walk and with poison tracks up and down my leg. That was 18 years ago and I still go cold when I remember the pain.
