crichbish
For the last few years I have used game bore mammoths and had good results, however, since Neath Gun shop have stopped selling shotgun ammunition, the next nearest shop is only stocking Cheddite HP steel. Before stocking up, not that I use many, has anyone tried these and if so what are the results. Thanks in advance. Bloody auto correct, title should be cheddite! figgy
Think they will be good carts, Cheddite have not made a bad cart in their range. Not used the Cheddite steel myself but would if they were available near me.
johnnytheboy
Cheddite 70mm Steel I couldn’t get on with for some reason, tried the 34 and 32g carts nd just felt they weren’t knock down good! The 3” are however far better than the mammoths, you will like them I’m sure!
aga man
Have been using the steel hunting hp load on flighting pigeons lately and have been very impressed. I would use them on ducks no problem. As figgy said Cheddite seldom make poor cartridges. I have been using 32gm no 4 [3.1mm] with 3/4 choke and have killed some good pigeons.
