Cranfield
Does anyone know about a programme on either Channel 4, E4, More4, etc., that was shown on a Tuesday night and featured a fox hound pack ? I have been told about this series, but the person couldn't remember which "4" channel it was on. It has the word "land" in the title. invector
I've got it on video. Lent it to the gunshop and haven't got it back yet!!!
Cranfield
It does look as though it is "Lie of the Land", originally shown on Channel 4 back in May, so it must have been repeated on More4 last week. invector, is it available on video, or did you video it ? dazza
yes it's Lie of the land http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...h&plindex=
Mungler
I meant to watch that. Is it being repeated at all or has it already been repeated. I tried looking at the C4 webby but it's got **** on there unless you want Big Brother or the F Word.
Frostbite
That`s the second repeat. More4 show a lot of repeats and i dare say it will be on again. Top class programme well worth catching.
Cranfield
The problem with the "non mainstream" TV channels, I never look to see whats on them. I'm sure most people only land on their programmes when they are browsing with the remote and find something interesting.
Gully
Very good programme, probably a bit too much about fox hunting and not enough about the countryside in general. No holds barred though - they didn't shy away from showing plenty of cross bred calves and even a horse getting killed and then taken back, skinned (by tying the animal to the ceiling and the skin to a Land Rover before driving off). The knacker's brother got it bang on - 'This government is re-nationalising the countryside'. Also a bit about a pheasant hatchery and how he can't compete with Europe as they have all their pheasants in batteries.

Gully
Very Sad Here's an article about it on R4 (ahem) Women's Hour. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/02/2007_18_wed.shtml

invector
Cranfield, I did video it, lent it to the folks at my gun shop, because they had missed it. A couple of customers asked if they could see it, and I left it with the gunshop. I've yet to retrieve it.
