Walker570
Nice young buck. Not met any competition either as his ears are too perfect. Shot an old OLD one last week and it's ears looked as if they had been attacked with scissors. Antlers broken off, just two stumps as thick as the base of my thumbs. Everyone better put wire round their roses and veg patch.

Walker570
They're spreading in from Freazley direction probably as well. Have not been on the newly forested mount but I know the woods and railway line on the far side towards Wood End are heavy with them, we have shot quite a few out there. Amazing how they will settle down in even a small patch of cover close to human habitation if not harried with dogs. Remember that Stoneydelph when it was beautiful farm land with small copses. My Uncle farmed some of it and we used to go down in there and have picnics. They call it progress Edited November 29, 2017 by Walker570
old'un
Yep, a mate of mine shoots around that way, one of the farms in Drayton Lane backs onto DraytonManorPark and he said he had seen a fair few Muntys coming onto the ground from the woods at the back of the park. We have a few there but nothing much. That’ll be lockhearts farm , Hemus or smithys . Hs2 is destroying it through there anyway . Ive shot there for 15 years now and found a few prints but I think it’ll take a while still unfortunately. as Walker said if you go woodend it’s busy but granted after shooting in Bedfordshire I was shocked at seeing them everywhere and my Mate shoots on Packington that’s full of them. Its only a matter of time Edited November 29, 2017 by team tractor
