Salmo9
Well folk's, I've used Nikwax and Grangers wash in products but my old Barbour endurance jackets still soak up the rain.. Admittedly, I'm still dry on the inside but the jackets become heavy and soggy and I've given up wrestling with soggy, wet jackets at lunchtime.. Is there a solution out there that'll replicate the factory 'durable water repellency'.? I'll gamble that there are industrial products available but us mere domestic consumers won't be allowed access to such powerful stuff, I'm sure.. any info appreciated.. Thanks - Salmo. oowee
I use the paint on grangers for tents. It works a treat but i bet it stops anything like goretex from working.
SimpleSimon
Have a look on Google/eBay for Diver Dave. Better than anything else I've tried, and having worked in the trade for a while I've tried a lot! Really effective and seems to last more than one or two uses before it needs doing again. Salmo9
Well Guy's - Have just taken delivery of two bottles of 'Repel' from DD.. Asked him if it'd be OK to brush apply as opposed to spray. Dave said it'll be fine. Cheers - Salmo..
