steve_b_wales
I want to order a part for my Freelander 2 via Ebay. The compatability chart is asking if the variant is either FA _ (2006-2015)SUV or LF _ (2006-2015)SUV I don't know what that means. How do I find out? Mine is a 2008 GS TD4 (2.2 TD) Any info is appreciated.

pigeon controller
Under the passenger windscreen or bonnet. In the log book. It could be in all the letters of the VIN ( vehicle identification number) before the number start.

SpringDon
Don’t think it’s part of the vin. (From memory) lf is the 160bhp and fa is the 150bhp one. The more powerful engine was (I think) badged sd4 and an automatic. Reasonably sure but please don’t shoot me if it’s wrong.
