tonker
After working together on his father's farm in Somerset, and then working together on a years practical before going to agricultural college. I went to Mull for six weeks mainly shooting Rabbits with my mate, that was 49 years ago. As often happens, we lost touch when we both got married. We blow me, I had an xmas card which found us this year from him. He moved to Mull and has a campsite just outside Salen with three statics and only a few touring pitches. He wants to have a meet up to reminisce. Long story short, he has offered us one of his statics for a couple of weeks foc and as I can't remember to much about the Island thought I'd ask if anyone could recommend a few things. Obviously one will be the wildlife as he has some reds on his farm.

Stonepark
if the weather is decent, boat trip to staffa and fingals cave, puffins at your feet during nesting season, whip round to west mull to sea eagles and otters, further out Burg and you can go out to the fossilised tree. yates
Fantastic Island, I'll be back in July. There's fantastic fly fishing, sea fishing. Lot,s of opportunities to take in the wildlife and fantastic beaches and crystal seas. We always take our three dogs and spend all day outdoors. The only draw backs for me are the midges and the roads are single lane in places. Not good when you have a local in a hurry up your backside. Other than that enjoy
