jmcc1889
Hi I have a 12 bore bettinsoli xtrail o/u in cammo finish. A bit of the cammo finish has bubbled and after closer inspection has flaked off after cleaning it. This is on the top of the rib and another small section on the barrel. The area affected is only about an inch in total. What is the best way to cover the now bared metal? I'm presuming I will have to touch it up with paint if so which type and where can I acquire it? Any advice as always would be greatly appreciated. John

jmcc1889
Thanks for the replies..I was thinking of the model paint don't know how durable it would be though. I see hammerite comes in various colours and in smaller 250ml tins.Im not looking a perfect match more concerned about sealing the finish to stop saltwater getting in behind the camo finish and causing damage.
