UN past its sell by date.

Again Russia use a threat of veto to block a ceasefire for Ghouta Syria. Too often the UN is just not working. We have an international set of principles that any country can just ignore for its own political end making a nonsense of the whole structure of the organisation.

The UN is indeed a toothless useless thing but it has nothing to do with Russia, the main reason for its ineffectiveness in ending human misery is that it's no more than a propaganda front for the US and its allies. 

The war in Syria was started by America by proxy means and continues to this day because America supports terrorists it has armed and calls friendly rebels, what the BBC and the msm doesn't tell you is that these murican backed terrorists have been shelling and attacking other major cities in Syria for years and cause hundreds of civilian deaths on a weekly basis, the legitimate government of Syria has no choice but to engage these terrorists who use civilians as human shields. 

The exact same scenario has played out with catastrophic loss of human lives from city to city. If the UN had any legitimacy whatsoever it would have rounded up the murican military illegal combatant terrorists currently inside Syria up to no good without a UN charter. 

The news you watch every day is scripted pack of lies.

Yes there are things going on that we do not get told about, that is how the world rolls! The UN cannot just roll up and do a Johnny Rambo on all the baddies as they have to follow protocols and laws which makes them look toothless, so if you want a Johnny Rambo style scenario pay for international rescue, or go all off-grid badass yourself

The UN has never really lived up to the early expectations for it. Its a committee and like all committees they get bogged down. Its still better than nothing
