if I’ve been shooting plastic wads I needs to give a scrub with brush to before step 1. 

 

Give your bore snake a wash out in warm water and a little washing up liquid. Rinse under the tap and dry out ,good as new again .

They are machine wasable as well, just put them in an old pillow case.

Of course they are, I don't bother putting them in anything I just chuck em in, with dirty boiler suits etc. on a 60º cycle

Ive only ever sprayed some gun cleaner down both barrels then used a pull through 2-3 times on each barrel 

am I not doing enough perhaps?
