Fuddster
well after a rather splendid 55 birds over a 3 day old barley drilling yesterday, I was sadly rained off today. So never one to spend too much time in the house, out I went with dogs and gun. I have been spotting single carrion crow nests-usually in low trees or stand alone trees-as I cant abide the dam things a few AAA shells were put through them as my contribution to helping the local bird life. The chicks should be on the wing in about a week so I urge you all to scan for nests and deal with them accordingly. f.
aga man
Job well done Fuddster and some very sage advice. I am also keen to kill Carrion crows and magpies at any time of year but tend to make more effort around spring time. Clodhopper
A good job, well worth doing. Ours must be later than yours as there are still eggs, no chicks yet.
JDog
Carrion crow females are just starting to incubate this week. They should be easier to shoot if they sit tight.
