tikkamark
Hello all this is my first attemt at posting a pic so hopefully will work fingers crossed I was a bit bored yesterday evening so i thought id tip out with my .223 to a spot i regularly roughshoot for pheasants during the season to see if anything was about i parked the car and went into the field looked to the far side of field and seen 2 foxes chasing each other This was about 8.30pm they then started feeding out far side of the ditch so i want up on a rise overlooking that spot waited for a while then mr fox came out my side of ditch took ages for him to stop for a shot was following him with crosshairs then he stopped long enough for the 50grain sako soft point to do its job He dropped at 160yrds

EoinGalway
Fair play... The T3 Tactical is a cracking rifle.. 55gr accutip are my preferred round but must start looking at cheaper rounds.. Must start back on the lamping soon, pheasants poults are keeping me busy at the moment.. Knocked of 12 greys and 4 mags in the larsen traps today.. and the just keep coming.. had 4 in one trap tonight with another 5 standing outside trying to get in.. Im very very happy with my tactical at €3.500 the setup i have is not cheap but the trigger is the best i have ever used and is pretty accurate im gettin just over 1" groups at 150yrds with the sako 50grains without anything under the butt. The adjustable cheekpiece is a great job you can be really comfortable with it.I have not tried the accutips yet eoin there a bit on the steep side though I mainly use the sako soft points in mine they are a great round very hard hitting.Thats some amount of greys in one day I stopped trapping last week myself got a good few this year Im concentrating on the foxes mainly at the moment got another cub this evening in the same spot as that dog i got yesterday

Sure thing eoin id love to do a bit of lamping over your side of the country its totally different terrain than where i am i would have plenty of time to do it at the end of the month id have to find a cheep b+b over there though not an easy thing at the end of july
