Guest
It’s been mentioned a few times so I thought I would start this thread. Pecking the eyes out of baby lambs is good enough reason for me to shoot corvids. What are your methods and tactics?
Guest
Method 1: shoot 1 and leave it. Chaos follows giving you about 20 minutes before they realise it’s a trap.
ClemFandango
depends on the species of corvid really. I'll assume you mean magpies and Carrion Crows given the activity? Larsen trapping is most effective. Rooks and Jackdaws Ladder traps can be productive although less likely to be the culprit here. Shooting Magpies and Crows, I have had success over a. Eagle Owl decoy or a Dead fox staked out, shooting from a well made hide.
clakk
1 decoy ,1 pegged out rabbit and a hide with top cover ,open the rabbit up.If your in a bunny free zone get half a dozen white eggs and smash them up with the decoy looking like its eating them and after the first shot the rest will freak out so be patient atb

Mice!
its a smelly squirrel, not many rabbits round here, and I'd be eating it not using it for magpie bait, decoys should be here next week so that should help.
