Scully
Not wanting to hijack another thread, but for those interested, there is an App called Plantsnap, which may come in handy for all those who struggle to identify plants. I have no idea how good it is but it claims to have millions of plant identities worldwide, and all the user has to do is take a snap and the app will identify it. Anyone got any other good apps, shooting related or otherwise?
JohnfromUK
There is a 'family' of Apps by Sunbird in Id'ing things; Bird Id Tree Id Mushroom Id Butterfly Id Reptile Id Fish Id Bird Song Id Orchid Id Wild Flower Id Winter Tree Id I have the Wild Flower Id one - and it is pretty good. Unfortunately they are quite expensive at £3.99 each, but you can get 'bundles' that give some saving. The flower one has auto ID, but the only time I wanted it was in Scotland where I had no signal! AlistairB
I've got PlantSnap, and so far it's been pretty accurate. Mind you, I've only tested it in the garden so it shouldn't be too troubled by that!
Scully
A farming mate has Agriplot, which he uses to ‘ping’ distances when out foxing.
