Doitwithstyle
Have you sorted this ? If not . Get a bit of pvc pipe with same diameter as barrel . Stick some sand paper to it . And back and forth with the forend . Will take a little time to do but will work . And keep it even . Best idea I got to help . Have done it this way before for something else Edited October 13, 2018 by Doitwithstyle

Gordon R
Doitwithstyle - A genuinely useful tip about the plastic pipe. Did you come up with that yourself or pick it up elsewhere?

Did you come up with that yourself or pick it up elsewhere? When I messed around with Pcp air rifle stocks I did it all the time but With a cooper pipe . I’m not sure if it was something I fort of as I have lack of tools . Or something I saw in the net . Most probly something my dad showed me . I mention the plastic pipe as you can get all sizes . I do have a good idea now and then just not that often Edited October 21, 2018 by Doitwithstyle
Gordon R
It is better than " a good idea". Inspired from where I sit. I can turn my hand to most things, but it genuinely surprised me.

Gordon R
I don't do flattery, but I hope I am quick to acknowledge others genuine efforts. I have built kit cars from scratch, built motocross bikes from scratch, done a few adjustable comb stocks, but am more of a copier than an original thinker. SurreySquireler
now, if you attach the pipe to a drill somehow...
Gordon R
Expanding rawl bolt, inside the tube and other end in a drill chuck, would suffice.
