Pedro
I know this has been on in the past, but I've just checked and found the most relevant post was in early 2006. I currently have a Garmin Streetpilot 111 that to be honest is pretty difficult to use and is missing roads in France, (caused a huge argument with Mrs P. last year ). To update the roads I need a new CD, but the cheapest I can find is about 112 quid. I've been recommended the TomTom Go 510, as it's easy to use and has various extra features, like bluetooth and ipod capabilties and comes in at about 223 pounds, (I'm missing the pound sign on the keyboard  , KIDS). My question is, what would you lot advise, as I know a few of you spend quite a bit of time on the road and no doubt use these all the time? pin
Good choice, either that or the "one XL Europe" if you don't need the ipod/bluetooth rubbish

Pedro can vouch for this one :good: if i can use it, it must be idiot proof, works well in France also TP

pin
Pin how do you rate the ONE XL i have it in my truck and find it quite useful, still cant work half of it though  They look great, nice and compact and a decent screen on them. Do what they say on the tin, personally I wouldn't want my satnav talking to my ipod (I don't have or want an ipod) via bluetooth, or my phone for that matter. Satnav is for getting you to somewhere you can't find, not for confusingly connecting together all your electronics so none of them work right

SNAKEBITE
SatNav can be as confusing as it is helpful. Mine got me door to door to an Islington address but had me circling a field when I put a postcode in that was out in the sticks. Oh there were no houses within the field either just to make it worse.
