Stimo22
Hi All I used to shoot clays with Eley first fibre was cartridges, but they changed and started to leave a lot of lead residue in the barrels of my Beretta. The last batch where so bad that the gun shop sent a lot back to the company. They now sell a cartridge called Eley Select and I wondered if any member has tried them and if they are just as dirty. I not been able to get any to trial but a new shop has opened nearby who sells them and I normally buy 1000 so need some opinions
chesterse
Really good cartridge with soft recoil - have not noticed any residue issues.
BlaserF3
I've shot thousands of Eley Select through a Miroku and there is no lead build up at all but Beretta barrels are totally different. I had a DT10 and a 391 and cleaning the forcing cone area was a pain. I don't know why but there's something different inside those tubes compared to other guns. I also have a Renato Gamba and there is no build up in the barrels at all, I also have an 18 year old 391 and there is no build up in that when using Eley Select. motty
Thought they were exactly the same cartridge, just rebranded.
