But hello anyway, I'm in Cheshire, 18 years young and currently own a Air Arms S400.

I applied for my SGC lastweek so hopefully I'll be blasting away with that in the new few months, I've done clays before but I'm going to have a couple of lessons to get me going.

I'm not too sure on guns yet to be honest, I've got around £600ish to spend, maybe a little more but I don't really fancy paying much more, Beretta 686's seem to go secondhand for around this much, I've been in a few gun shops but can't remember many of the models, a lincon and another that begins with M, I think he said they're made at brownings factory.

alryt andy im just wondering... a s410 with a magazine do you need to recock it evrytime you shoot it? or is it 10 continous shots? :P and a 410 is an amazing starter shotgun.. its harder but it gets you used to the lead on a shot :P

L M :P

Hey mate, I've got the S-400 not the 410, but yes you do need to recock it for every shot.

Beatingisbest, yes that was the one.

I had my first real lesson yesterday, It was great, I'm going to have another next week, I used a browning, very nice gun, I hit about half, maybe a bit more, I seem to hit more last time I did it though, maybe it was because of the strong wind that was blowing at the time.

Anyway it only cost £40 for a 1 hour lesson with 60 shots, looks like a gret price compared to other places!

Miroku are good guns, made by the Japanese and good for clays and game.
