Blundy
What do you guys pay for your syndicates? Thinking of joining one but not sure if it’s a good deal or not?
TIGHTCHOKE
It rather depends on how many birds and how many days and whether it is proper driven or walked up.

Nmb
The amount of birds/guns is important however it depends if you also want some good banter and a social element as this can’t be bought! If it is a syndicate that has its own ground some allow members to shoot vermin during the close season and also many have duck flights after the days shooting so all these things will have a bearing on the value for money. lastly these sorts of syndicates may need you to help feeding and building pens etc so arguably this could lessen the value for money. Walker570
Ran a similar syndicate back 10yrs ago and our fees then were £600 each same number of guns, so I would think about right. It is mainly down to what rent you are paying and that varies owner to owner. We used to run both a raffle and members donated prizes and a bag number which raised a fair bit of our costs. W shot every other weekend and every weekend through the non season we had work days which could also include some pigeon/vermin shooting. A few members also contributed a further £150 each and they could then stalk on the ground.
