monkeyboots
does anyone use these type of hides are they any good http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mossy-Oak-Burlap-Pig...1QQcmdZViewItem
cloudwalker
I bought a similar one of ebay from the states. All they are a piece of lightweight fabric with cuts in. They dont have any netting so are quite hard to fix to your hide poles. They also dont hang like a net. They are cheap, but as always you get what you pay for. I bought a Camoreal net from Deben instead
henry d
The wind catches them badly, however I use an ex-army net with a shadow grass burlap net(greys and beiges) under as it gives a 3D effect.
Cranfield
I don't think they are meant as a hide net, with a pole at each corner like we tend to make a hide. They seem to be OK, if you sit on the ground with a rifle and drape it round you. If you try to hang it, the wind catches it and blows it everywhere, as it is so light and insubstantial. I sold mine at a Boot Fair to a girl who was going to hang it on her bedroom wall.

Good idea Henry. Ive been thinking of using my old cam net in conjunction with my 'stealth' net as im sure some crows/pidgeons see my hide even from a fair distance away. Might try it out this afternoon if the bl**dy rain holds off a bit! Just to add i have sewn on elastic to my stealth net which makes pole fixing a doddle..
