Harry136
Hi, just about to get a new gas hob. Our current hob is 58cm wide, the new hob we want is 60 cm wide. Does anyone know if we will have to cut a bigger hole in the worktop or with there being such a small difference will it fit? The new hob is a smeg s46s. millrace
Google the "cut out dimensions" and remember your carcass may only be 600 overall unless your above a bigger unit...

manthing
You should be able to measure the existing cutout from underneath and if you google the new one you can compare sizes. The "standard cutout" these days seems to be 560mm wide by 480mm deep from all the ones I fit.
Dougy
Bet it just drops in, ( not through)
