loopy bunny blaster
just asked a few people on here about shotgun certificates, (thanks guys) and people say they are reletively easy to aquire in comparison to rimfires, i was just wondering what kind of a chance would i have of getting certificate for one shotgun? i am only 15 and live on a farm surrounded with land just thought i'd ask before shedding out money for a cabinet
loopy bunny blaster
just wondering if its even worth trying at this stage dudes, thanks
pin
Have a look at http://www.met.police.uk/firearms-enquiries/age.htm See if the restrictions you'd have would work for you, no reason you wouldn't get one unless you are the most accomplished career criminal at age
Ferret Master
I have a shotgun certificate at age 14. Go for it. I'm sure they will say yes. FM
loopy bunny blaster
thanks pin, just looked at it, i mean i have a VERY good reason to posses one dont i? living on a working farm and all..
pin
I don't know enough about you or your farm to comment accurately, but you'd definitely stand more chance than most 15year old lads I'd think. The restrictions would limit what you could do, have a think if it would be worth it for now, perhaps find someone older to take you shooting so you learn the ropes that way? Guest p.beretta
unless you have someone who can buy you a gun and ammo(like dad or family with shotgun certificate) then there is no point
loopy bunny blaster
can it be bought from a gun shop by my dad if my liscence is infront of the shop clerk?
Foxer
I am 17 now but got my cert when i was 16, i am basicly the same as you though as i live on a farm so needed a shotgun for the pigeons ect. You should get a cert no problem the hardest part is filling in the form
loopy bunny blaster
thanks foxer, how do i go about getting the gun though as my dad or none of my immediate family have a sgc?
njc110381
If your dad is ok with the idea then just get him to apply for a certificate too. If you live on a farm then I'd imagine it should be fairly simple to get it sorted. As long as you or your dad haven't been in major trouble, you'll get it EDIT......I'd go as far as saying you'd probably get a FAC too if you want one

russuk
they call themselves "badgers" or something, dont know if ill go down, theyre all posh people with perazzi (or howeva u spell it) guns Remember though, shooting is like sex. It's not what you shoot with, it's how you shoot it. Remember though, shooting is like errr, something other than sex that's appropriate for a younger audience. It's not what you shoot with, it's how you shoot it.
