malkiserow
see below ... scroll down for pics the rod has 3 sections but I only use 2 for the bouncer..... the top sections..... as it is bamboo it is hollow so at the foot end I cut the head of a 4 inch nail and epoxyed it into the fat end to make the spike. to fix the decoy on I took a knife to a scrap of wood. the decoy has a plug and a strange lug just infront so I used both.... plug to fix is and the lug to stop is rotating on the wooden block. The block if glued on to the top piece of cane.... cost 50 P and time to make ... about 30 minutes.

malkiserow
The spike at the fat end ..... it works fine in this soft ground but have my doubts about frozen soil!!! still it is VERY light. To get the shine off it I rubbed soil on.... the colour is kind of barley so not too bad OK first attempt at photobucket......
