steve_b_wales
I'm thinking of taking up Practical Shotgun and wondering if I could use my FAC rated Escort Magnum. If so, what choke must be used ?

I will check with the owner, but thought I'd ask on here first.
The Mighty Prawn
I use a supernova with full choke, some of the rangier big steels need quite a whack to get them to fall - guys with more open chokes have been known to not be able to complete a stage due to insufficient shot power to knock down targets - we had a visitor once with one of those adjustable chokes (Winchester if I remember correctly) and he couldn’t seem to get anything down, you could see how wide the pattern was from splash all around the targets

I think using a full choke would probably be the best. Just now, sam triple said: small world

The main problem I have at the moment with the club is that they only shoot on weekends, and I usually work 3 out of the 4.
