alan123shooting
I was out first thing this morning after yesterday’s rain, arrived at the area it was just getting light as I set off, just after 5 mins spotted a a fallow doe I saluted her as she passed. I carried on and less than a couple mins whilst scanning the trees, spotted the Roe buck at 150 yards he was standing broad side, set the sticks up for the shot he did not move, he gave me a quick glance so I let the shot off he ran 20 yards and then dropped. When I arrived it was a stone dead. A most satisfying morning.

oowee
Cracking buck and a day to remember. Well done on your first of many 🙂 Personally I like to see the animal at its best in the photograph, rather than covered with the tools I used to shoot it.
