You are most welcome, it’s a shame nobody else has put their hands in their pockets -

Just given you £20, I wish it could be more -
more than likely the glue would be some form of contact adhesive, I doubt it would be pearl glue, the former will not take kindly to being mucked about with. You can try a not too hot iron, place a cloth over the area and apply the heat to melt the glue.

Thank you

Hi Andy , is this any use to you, it’s not the best, but there aren’t that many about, If you want it £30 posted, the only problem is, I will be going into hospital tomorrow and will be unable to post for a couple of weeks, so if you do, we sorted it all out later -

Yep Arrieta made their side x side guns from 1992-2017, they are now being made by Rizzini who have been making their O/U shotguns since 2010 -
I just shown it to my other half her words were, “that looks tasty” I will have a go at that , thanks for posting

Following on from my bargain at Holts J. Hobson shotgun and case. I have just finished the case. I have made a new Handle and straps, relined it and managed to to find a label online to take a copy of. I’m pleased with the results, the gun is off to the gunsmith this week for a proper pad to be fitted
-
Yes the case came from Holts, I’m not complaining, the gun was a complete bargain, it in another thread only £39.00
-
Hi it’s cylinder and quarter which I don’t mind, as it’s will be a walk around gun.
-
Following the £39 shotgun, I thought I would look for a case for it, unbelievably I have found the the original case at Holts it’s in good nick and only £78 all in so a nice English cased gun for just over £100, I pick the case up tomorrow. I class myself a very lucky man
-
Thank you, I will
-
They normally take them at the valuation days which are held all over , have a look on the website
-
Unfortunately it would be at Holts, which is the pain
-
I’m afraid I didn’t, I went purely to look and purchase the Hobson if it had not been sold
