powler
Just wondering if or what calls people are using for grey squirrels? I got a few but they don't seem interested, ones a chirpy sound and the other is a poor quality distress one. This Distress call one seems good but not sure if it would work ok. I have seen the primos type but they seem not so good. Mick
TIGHTCHOKE
You don't need a call. Put some food out and wait for them to come to lunch!

Got one bait station down, and will knock a few more up ready for the colder weather as several woods to cover, was just looking at options as there is quite a lot of woodland. old man
As TIGHTCHOKE says. Personally never had proof that anything other than food works? Tried Primos etc and stone clicks.
stuartyboy
I've tried calls with limited success. As others have said, your best bet to get numbers is to provide a decent food source and ambush them. You will get a few by walking and stalking around their favourite natural food sources but always best to bait them out when you get the chance. End of the day, they are just rats with a better PR image. You wouldn't look to call rats to you, instead you would use their desire to eat to your advantage.
