Yearly oil change on low milage car

hello, talking of motors how many use REDEX ? been stood 4 days so i will add some of this in the tank,

I’ve never been convinced by redex but have found good results with liquimoly injector cleaner if run neat on a litre of the stuff.

 

edit it might’ve been the fuel system cleaner stuff

 

 correction, the stuff I rate is liquimolly diesel purge. The bottle claims it is for busses, trucks, and heavy equipment but it seems to perk any diesel up.

i start and drive my car like an old fartz.............then on the way back from where i have been i hoof thro the gears and get the engine well up to temperature........i change the oil every year regardless of the mileage and use expensive petrol............if i was doing long runs like repping i would use cheap fuel........

Low mileage often means short journeys when the engine struggles to get up to temperature. That's when there's a lot of condensation created which degrades the oil.
