Westley
Can anyone tell me what to add to the water for cleaning my auto metal parts in an ultrasonic cleaner ? I have used white vinegar, but is there anything better that I could use ? Thanks in anticipation.

Try to keep parts suspended and not in physical contact with the sides/base of the cleaner ...may see you at The Dib on Sunday , not confirmed yet though
John_R
It depends on the parts in question and the metal they are made from. There are carburetter cleaning additives, amongst other things. I have used SeaClean for many things with good results. I have some carbs to do soon and plan to try the proper additive. Thanks, I do suspend the bits in the basket provided. One of the problems with using vinegar, I get fed up of other shooters asking "WHO is eating chips" ? 🤔 Edited February 7, 2020 by Westley
