johnnytheboy
Anyone tried these? They look quite unique https://feedacone.co.uk
Walker570
Not seen those. Should be pretty deer/badger proof.
Jim Neal
Looks to me like the holes are way too big, same as a Wright feeder. As soon as anything like a badger starts knocking at that the wheat is going to rain out of it. No feeder is deer proof if it's on its side with the lid off! If the manufacturers want to send me half a dozen to prove me wrong I'd accept the challenge and would have no problem eating my words if their claims are correct! cardigun
Jim, The picture of it on its side , was to demonstrate how it can be cleared of blockages. The screws are in slots, so it can be turned and removed. The size of the holes may be a point. Only experience will tell.

I should have been more clear. What I meant was it doesn't matter what delivery method is fixed to a feeder if the deer can still get to it and knock it over. Jim Neal
Last time I checked there's not many trees in the middle of our game covers!
johnnytheboy
Stake the legs in and tie them to the stakes!
Walker570
Couple of half round tanalised fence posts down opposing legs bolted or bound on seems to do the trick. Deer soon learn to limbo under wire as well
