hodge911
gov website may have the answer ?? as they have suspended MOT testing for 6 month from end of march so if you get stopped and your test runs out after end of march you wont be done as long as you keep your car in good roadworthy condition

Centrepin
Ring 0300 790 6802, have all your details to hand ready, including your ordinary licence, vocational licence and a pen and paper. Explain your circumstances, you will then be given a reference number which you must quote if stopped by the Police. Your employer may also require it too. You may be given a 2, 4 or 6 week extension. You will also be told what to do at this end of ths extension. It maybe longer due to present circumstances. Due to high volume of calls expect to be on hold a while. Does your mate know you also have to have an eye test as well now. This information was current last time I dealt with driver training as a company training officer, but I'm out of the loop now retired so forgive me if its outdated.
