Guest cookoff013
Is slow magnum 12, probably scope semi magnum 20gauge. I just worked out its energy profile. To put together a theoretical loading, to make a decision, if its viable for 20gauge and 12 assay test

Might be closer performer to CSB0. I will certainly be giving it some attention once we are out of this lock down. Might prove to be useful powder. https://www.colvini.com/file-utily/maxam-new-psb.pdf . .

Guest cookoff013
If you calculate the energy 66ftlb per grain of powder at the height of 12gauge 44gram and the 20 gauge 28gram. Thats my sugar !

Guest cookoff013
I dont know. Either way i think it might be a candidate to do some 20gauge stuff. Ive just calculated. What i want to do. I have theoretical loads. The only way to really compare would be to load ladder multiple payloads. I dont have the cash for that. In some instances they probably would contradict each other. In my load i will do, ive selected high efficiency, 1050 hp loads and 1300fps minimum.
roughshooter
In the good old days of Clay and Game. (I.e. Ian Charlton) a load of data was already available when the powder was available for distribution. as Steve Dales has testing facilities there why does he not do them for us??? Ian was a very dedicated reloader.
sitsinhedges
Seems that claygame will load your recipe into 8 shells and pressure test them for £28 all in.
Guest cookoff013
Thats not bad, but id prefer to load them myself for testing
