PeterHenry
Hi All, I'm trying to figure out how the bonnet fits on a David Brown 880 Selectamatic. I originally though that it had something to do with the two holes on the panels at the front of the bonnet - but on closer inspection, these seem to be for headlights and other attachments. Also, and despite the fact I'm missing the chin peice (part 915507) I cant find anything for it to bolt onto - so I'm wondering, does it just sit on, and the front of it rests on the chin piece? Finally, does anyone know what size the top coupling for the three point linkage needs to be? I've tried the one off my Zetor 6718, and that's too big. Best, Peter
wisdom
Theres a catch either side of the fuel tank.accesible under the bonnet sides.I think but it was a long time ago. Or near the front.Just rubber t shaped catches. Air cleaner inlet and exhaust off and maybe fuel cap and you should be good to go. Edited June 9, 2020 by wisdom Adding text. Best, Peter The 990 ""880 just smaller" upwer bonnet section has provision for lights but often has a gold grille trim and they just fit outboard lights. The black grill itself had two tabs at bottom edge sits on centre lower panel lip in front of betray area, and is held in place with two pins yop corners just under the gold grille.
