School and self isolation

My youngest has just had an email today - somebody in his year has tested positive for the kung-flu - he now has to isolate for 14 days but the rest of us are free (within local lockdown remit) to come and go!!

We don't even know if it was anybody he came into contact with as there are about 200 or more in his year 😞

Great start to his GCSE year and he was supposed to be having two tests next week that would count towards them (Wales)

Very unfortunate, my five year old had to have a few days off and a COVID test after waking with a cough (she has hay fever) despite taking her piriton  and being absolutely fine less than an hour later. I hope the school makes arrangements for your boy to take his tests 👍🏻

Lad at work was raging because his kid got sent home along with the year, despite them not being in the same bubble,  so why have the bubbles?
