steve_b_wales
My 2008 Freelander 2( bought new) has just clocked up 92000 miles, nothing for a diesel I know. The mileage has been made up mainly through 'short journeys, around 50-60 miles, with 'many' stops and starts'. It's been serviced yearly which covered the engine oil, fuel filter and air filter. It's due to have another service soon, and I'm debating to have the gearbox oil renewed. My vehicle is in very good condition and has only failed one MOT three years ago, which was a rear shock absorber. I'd like to keep it for at least one more year. Opinions please. B725
I had mine done and the haldex oil and filter also the atf oil changed this was done over a couple of years to spread the cost. I finally changed the fl 2 after 11 years for a Volvo XC60 and have no regrets so far.
