Realale
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good aftermarket steel choke that also performs well with fibre wad lead shot?
figgy
What gun? I use Briley modified and full for both steel and lead.
Realale
It will be used on a Franchi Affinity or SX4 depending what I buy. Do you rate the Briley?
Stimo22
What is wrong with the standard chokes. I have a affinity and use gamebore silver steel with reasonable results.
Realale
It's a cosmetic thing. Pathetic I know but they look cool
figgy
Yes I rate the Briley chokes, if I didn't they would have been sold and something else used. I oy use extended chokes with steel so if something were to happen I can get a good grip on them and remove. If your gun came with external chokes pattern them. My Benelli SuperSport extended chokes are very good and that's what I use in it. I use the Briley in a Maxus as that's my Wildfowling rough shoot gun. Pathetic I know but they look cool does that not depend on what aftermarket ones you buy, or are you only interested in extended ones? I use a carlson set and am happy with them but do not think i would bother too much if i changed guns... except possibly teague but only as they are local to me
