mgsontour
Wow, I tried this for the 1st time I last weeks cold snap. . . . I assume this is a long old drink that is legendary for the older gentlemen on here ( I'm in my 50's been shooting most of my life and never tried it before but tis great ) The one I tasted ( in case others don't know) was piping hot from a flask. . . Bovril, white pepper, tabasco, lemon and sherry I assume some of you have twists on the above recipe which I would love to hear about Enjoy lads
oscarsdad
Replace the bovril with tinned beef consommé and add plenty of vodka instead of Sherry Edited February 18, 2021 by oscarsdad
TIGHTCHOKE
Another way of getting the same effect whilst out in the field is Mulligatawny soup in the flask.
