Have you tried broadbeans that are coated in seasoning and then roasted so theyre crunchy? Addictive.

thats a new one on me...........sounds to me its something they put in packets and give you on norfolk airlines

Theyre good, seem to be a few Portuguese and Chinese recipes for roasted or fried spicy broad beans.

This GF has just come back from the allotment, carrier bag full of purple broccoli. So tonight its beef cheeks in port with some purple sprouting.

Here in Bedford, my broad beans are just coming into flower. They were sown in October, and have been frozen solid half a dozen times (once to the point of almost no return), but are only a few days away from full flower.

They are in a sunny walled corner of the garden, and I should have harvested them by the first week of June to make room for pumpkins 🤤

love picking and shelling broard beans..............feels if you have something for your money.........as opposed to picking and shelling petis pois....lifes too short for them vedge
