Blackbart
From the BBC: "Sam Allardyce's future as Newcastle boss is looking bleak after he was confronted by senior players in a revolt over tactics. Cranfield
I think Allardyce is a good manager, look what he did for Bolton, but he does need the players to do their jobs. Glenn Roeder got rid of some of the chaff from Newcastle (I see Titus Bramble is still on form ), but there is a bit more still to go. They should give Sam a chance and a few quid for the January transfer window.
death from below
This really gets on my tits.....what is the point in even considering getting rid of one of the most respected, result producing managers in the game.....I know my mates down at St James pay good money to watch pants and have every right to vent their anger.....it is not something I have ever really done as i don't see how booing my own players would ever motivate them to do well.......their are still players at that club who don't seem to give a monkeys about playing for us which is sad. Always the great optimist - C'mon the Toon against the mighty gunners - show some pride and you never know. Ps Lets see how I am at about 21.45 tonight

Cranfield
1 - 1, what a great game and a spirited performance by Newcastle, I bet there were some tired legs in their dressing room after the game. Smith and Butt never stopped. Things could be getting better.
