Frank
I was told duck eggs are colestrol free, is this true?
red_stag88
Sod cholesterol, eat the things  I think the cholesterol comes when you fry 'em. So boiled would be OK.
Hammergun
No, it is not true. All eggs contain cholesterol. Red, you are quite right that the method of cooking makes a lot of difference.
ollie
I may be wrong but i thought that duck eggs contains more cholesterol than normal eggs from a hen.
Cranfield
My understanding is that ducks eggs contain more cholesterol than hens and geese eggs more than ducks. I can,t remember where i read this, but I,m sure its not just a "size of the egg" thing. Duck and goose eggs are much "richer" than chickens eggs. Frank
Thanks everyone for your opinions  The man that told me about duck eggs having no cholestrol, had a heart attack about 3 years ago and was told not to eat hens eggs. When he asked if he could eat duck eggs, he was told no problem, as they did not contain cholestrol. Confusing really I think Ill just eat them and sod cholestrol, just like you said red stag
