Jnw
Hi all, Apologies for starting a new ear pro thread as I’m sure there thousands on here. I’m looking at getting a pair of in-ear electronic hearing protection but not 100% sure in which ones to get. I’m currently torn between the CENS or the CFG (custom fit guard) but would like some advice if anyones had experience with them or I’m open to any suggestion. Thanks in advance
vmaxphil
I've got the cfg digital's and are very pleased with them, they came to my house for impressions and I had emails from them as they moved through the process, they took a little longer than advised but all in all not a problem, there is a 10% discount code by tgs YouTube channel
Centrepin
As the above post but mine are mid range around £100 and superb.
Walker570
Have an old pair of cens which have been very good. I will be having some new ones shortly and will choose another manufactuer purely because of my experience with cens customer relations which was appauling. I will have a look at thos cfg units. Jnw
Thanks for all your replies. I’ll look into some cfg’s then. 10 hours ago, vmaxphil said: I've got the cfg digital's and are very pleased with them, they came to my house for impressions and I had emails from them as they moved through the process, they took a little longer than advised but all in all not a problem, there is a 10% discount code by tgs YouTube channel Roughly how long did it take to receive yours? They quoted about 4 weeks but took 6 if my memory servers me right, worth the wait though, a chap at my club has the vario off the shelf inner ear plugs seems to get on with them ok

I will continue this season with them and then see what I go for next year. Mind my hearing is not what it was anyway due to age.

Good to hear (excuse the pun!), these seemed to "leak" from the outset. I wouldn't think they'd wear though if that's what you're saying? Apparently your ears change noticeably every ten years or so and along with your nose, nails and in some cases hair never stop growing.
