dead-eye-dick
The battery which I use for my whirley is knackerd (through lack of care) and I want to get another. My current one is 7ah 12v. It was a lamping battery. What power do you use for a rotor - I was thinking of going up to a 15ah for longer life but they are twice the price... webber
Ded Forget the price! If your current battery did the job, I would buy another. Dont forget that the 15A whilst twice the price will also be twice the weight. webber

Cranfield
I use a Yuasa 12V, 7Ah. It certainly wasn,t expensive and isn,t very heavy.

reddeer 40
a good tip for free batteries, I get mine from a guy who is installing security & alarm installations. Each two years they have to replace the batteries (contractual)and the old ones go normally to a recycling firm. For the recycling they have to pay, so when you ask old batteries, they are glad to get rid of it.
