red_stag88
How do you know it isn't you? Are you telling me that each shot you take with a sighted in rifle you always hit plumb centre?

Magpies are gay
no,,, what i mean is! when i zero my scope, again. I take 3 shots the make a adjustment, and usually that works fine then its lined up! But on some days i do the same but in sted of the 3 pellets hitting NEAR the same place. 1 goes real high, one goes real left and one real low!!!! red_stag88
How do you sight it in? Do you rest the gun on something hard? What is the scope make? Are ALL the screws on the gun + mounts tight? Oh and it still could be you,
Magpies are gay
i rest it on my window still, out of the window!!! i got a hawke pro stalk! and i do make sure the screws are tight(not to tight) When the problem happens, i just take the scope off and put it back on! and it seems fine after that! red_stag88
Dont keep taking the scope off! Your problem is that there is no flesh between you and the window sill. There must be flesh to absorb the vibrations!
lurcherboy
And may I add, your scope could be c**p, sorry but I have had the same experience. You get what you pay for. LB
Magpies are gay
NO. thanks for the help! but i have solved the problem!!! i had the mounts on to tight!...and it say in the manual thing, dont over tighten them it will effect the proformance of the scope (summit like that)
Pigeon_decoyer
I have the same problem, when I sight my gun up in my garden I shoot it out the window, Then I take the first shot and hit zero and take a next shot and it goes way to the left ecen though I know Im staying dead still. You have the same prblem as me mate! But when Im out shooting I always hit what Im aiming for! PD
Magpies are gay
Yer, same as you pigeon decoyer, i allways hit what i am aiming for, becuase i dont shoot over what i have lined it up at, Unless i have to, that is quite rare. dont know what it is, it might be due to wind, but when i am getting a group. I get about 4-5 in a just under 1", then just one goes high or wide by about 5-6 cms! It might just be me or something!!

MadSpringer
Very Good Mike! A Lab would be alot steadier!
Mickey
What pellets are you using? and also is your barrel clean? my groups start to go messy when my barrel is leaded, this can also cause the odd flyer that goes astray from the group for no apparent reason. Hope this helps you. :yp:
