Birds of Prey

Recommended Posts

We have 4 or 6 Buzzards around the farm with 2 shoots. Non of the keepers mind them and are more intent on reducing corvid numbers. They see them as more scavenger than predator. The crows will try and chase the buzzards away, the magpies just shout at them alot. Also a good few pigeons about. I've seen the crows kill a pigeon.

I see one keeper on an estate down south has just been done for poisoning raptors and is awaiting sentence. Hope he gets a holiday courtesy of HMP, he worked for a private shooting organisation and I believe they should also suffer.  There is no excuse.

Totally agree, this is the best way to stop this illegal killing.
